In January 2004, the hotel formerly known as Alphaville was undertaken by new management and with it, Silla Goa Resort was born! In the following months, it underwent intensive renovation works with ALL it's rooms and bathrooms totally refurbished and renovated to the highest of international standards.
The entrance area was redesigned with a larger reception being built on the now extended grounds of the hotel.In order to offer more facilities to the guests, an entirely new spacious bar area was created, including a stage for evening entertainments.
All improvements have considerably raised the overall standards of the hotel, providing great value for money to every traveller and holidaymaker coming to Goa.

Situated just a few minutes walk from Calangute's palm-fringed beach, and with the main town a modest 50 metres away, Silla Goa is ideally situated for both those that wish to enjoy Goa's sandy shores as well as adventuring into the bussling town nearby with its numerous colourful shops and stalls.
The town of Calangute is located in the north of Goa - approximatly 45Km from Goa's International Airport, with transfer charges by taxi between Rs.450-Rs.500 (approx £5) depending on the number of travellers and baggage.

Goa's capital, Panaji is only 13Km from the Hotel with transfer fees of approximatly Rs.175.
